Gonna Feel Like Triple Digits Today

I do the same thing (sort of). If it drops down into the mid to low 70's at night, I just turn off the AC. I dont crank mine to begin with though, I'd rather use the ceiling fan to help circulate it than drop it down too far.

Looking like it's gonna be mid to low 80's around here for the rest of the week, so that'll be a pretty much nighty occurance.

Mid to low 80s, that is ideal weather to me. My favorite weather is low 80s for the highs and mid 60s for the lows. Which is pretty much what we have here from Oct-April. It's really only May-August that are really hot here. Contrary to common misconception by some who don't live here and think it's hot "year round"... But even this summer heat is OK to me, it just bothers my 14 yr old dog when we go out so that worries me and bothers me to see him uncomfortable. And I look forward to my winter electric bills. They tend to run between $30-$50, tops. But $115 isn't bad considering some of my neighbors have $300, $350 electric bills this month. Last month one friend of mine living 2 streets over had a bill of $500...She is in a mobile home too so her A/C must be terribly inefficient or she runs it at max constantly. She is morbidly overweight so I suspect she runs it at max all the time.

Though in your defense, the volatility in temperatures is clearly on the low end (record lows of 18, 21, and 24) which probably skews the average highs downward.
